DESCRIPTION: The Golden Earring- Eight Miles High LP. 1st UK pressing with matrix ending 1L/1L and front laminated Moore & Mathes sleeve. My own copy until a very recent upgrade. Postage cost includes tracking and a box/cruciform mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Major Minor SMLP 65. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/FAIR. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen, a few scuffs and light hairlines.Played all of this quite a few times recently on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays VG. Music is loud and clean with some ticks in the quietest passages. Cover is in decent shape generally. It is firm and square, retains decent shape and has moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear and moderate creasing. It has a large sticker removal mark to front of sleeve. part of it is covered with a late 60s price sticker, some is blacked in. You could remove the sticker and black the rest in if you prefer. There is no writing to the sleeve and the spine is fully legible. A name has been scribbled faintly on each of otherwise clean labels. No rips, stickers or sticker tears to labels. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
