Description
Ghostface Killah – Ironman - 2 x LP Vinyl - Wu-Tang Clan - #RARE#
This album from Wu-tang member Ghostface Killah is now regarded as a Hip-Hop cult classic and is very hard to find on vinyl, especially in this condition.
The outer sleeve is nice and crisp with just a couple of light creases and a a couple of light dinks to the corners (see photos). The inner sleeves are also nice and creaseless.
The records themselves are what I would grade as excellent, with just minor 'ghosting' from the inner sleeves which I reckon would clean up nicely.
I have tried to capture all blemishes in the photos.
I bought this double album from new and I have never played it so it is pretty much brand new.
#This is a genuine auction so starting bid is only 99p!#
I am a true honest record collector (or at least I like to think I am!) and have spent the last 40 years of my life hunting car boot sales, charity shops, etc. for the thrill of finding 'holy grail' records for 50p then storing them away for a rainy day, never to even look at them or play them! Well, I have now reached an age where I actually love listening to the records that I genuinely love listening to and have found that I have a ridiculously sizable collection that I will never play and have no-one around me to pass them on to when I am gone. Therefore I be auctioning most of my collection at bargain hunting prices to hopefully get the thrill of the holy grail hunt going again.
This item will be packed securely and safely and I will use Royal Mail Tracked 48.
I will also include a plastic polythene outer sleeve to help ensure the record stays pristine for decades to come.
More information:
Dennis Coles (born May 9, 1970), better known by his stage name Ghostface Killah, is an American rapper and member of the Wu-Tang Clan. After the group achieved breakthrough success in the aftermath of Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), the members went on to pursue solo careers to varying levels of success. Ghostface Killah debuted his solo-career with Ironman in 1996, which was well received by music critics. Ghostface Killah is critically acclaimed for his loud, fast-paced flow, and his emotional stream-of-consciousness narratives containing cryptic slang and non-sequiturs. In 2006, MTV included him on their honorable mention list of The Greatest MCs of All Time, while the editors of About.com placed him on their list of the Top 50 MCs of Our Time (1987–2007), calling him "one of the most imaginative storytellers of our time."] Q magazine called him "rap's finest storyteller." Pitchfork Media stated that, "Ghostface has unparalleled storytelling instincts; he might be the best, most colorful storyteller rap has ever seen."NPR called him "a compulsive storyteller", and asserted, "His fiction is painterly."
