Description

Up for sale in this auction is a rare Northern Soul 7" single from Gerri Granger! Released in 1971 this is a pinnacle Northern Soul and I have read that the silver center label pressing is rarer than the promotional ones! Not sure if that is true but there could be some weight to that statement I believe. Comes in the ORIGINAL company sleeve it was released in (we got this from a collector who was meticulous about storing the 7"s in with the original sleeves). The vinyl is rated at VG conservatively with only very light and minor marks present. The vinyl is still fresh and glossy looking. Clean center labels. "B" stamped on both sides of the runout. Company sleeve is in VG+ to EX shape with only some minor creasing present. No tears or splits! Very nice and rare!

Goldmine Grading System:

  • SS  Still Sealed 
  • M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
  • M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
  • NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
  • VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
  • VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
  • VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
  • VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
  • G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
