Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of George Wallington ” And His Band” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 5045. The flat-rim playing surface has a single inaudible hairline and similarly inaudible splotchy patterning that is typical of records that are stored in their original sleeves; perhaps played once or twice. The cover has very light rubbing on the left and bottom of the front; the bottom seam has a 1 ½” worn split at the opening and ½” wear at the spine; store stamp at the top of the back slick. Personnel include Dave Burns, Jimmy Cleveland, Frank Foster, Oscar Pettiford, and Kenny Clarke. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL.
