Description
Riverside 341 Blue and silver label, deep groove. 6 tracks with Russell, piano, arranger; Al Kiger, trumpet; Dave Baker, trombone; Dave Young, tenor sax; Chuck Israel, bass; Joe Hunt, drums. Recorded in 1960. This is ground breaking modern jazz by one of America's greatest composer/arrangers, the late George Russell.
Cover: VG Top edge appears completely split held together by 2 short pieces of scotch tape. 1" bottom edge split; 1/2" split on the spine. Name of previous owner and small writting on the top margin of the back cover. Some aging on the front and back cover. Some corner wear.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. The record has an unplayed appearance with no markings on the vinyl surface. This fine appearance contrast with the cover wear. There are a very few, infrequent, scattered. light clicks. This condition is in pressing and is minor. I have give the overall condition the Mint(-) rating to allow for the described clicks but it is a conservative rating. In general I would consider this as having no surface noise. Audibly checked.
