Rare 1973 Concept pressing featuring Bjornar Andresen, Arild Andersen, Terje Rypdal, Webster Lewis, Bobo Stenson, Stanton Davis, Jan Garbarek, Jon Christensen, Sue Auclair, Gailanne Cummings, Joyce Gippo, Kay Dunlap, David Dusing, Ray Hardin, Don Kendrick, Don Hovey, & Dan Windham. “LISTEN TO THE SILENCE was commissioned by the Norwegian Cultural Fund for the 1971 Kongsberg Jazz Festival, specifically for the performance in the Kongsberg Church in Kongsberg, Norway. This is the “live” recording of the premiere performance held at the church on June 26, 1971.” Features “Special Effects” recorded at Aengus Recording Studios, Fayville, Mass, April 1973.” The back of the sleeve is signed to “Ed;” vinyl is in excellent shape.
