Description

George Michael symphonica Vinyl. Condition is "Used". They are dispatched with Royal Mail special delivery.


This is a very clean genuine copy from my private collection, which I am downsizing.

The record has been opened, is not in its original shrink wrap and has been played a couple of times using a Pro-Ject turntable with a 2M black MM stylus at the recommended 1.5gms.

The sound quality is near perfect, there is the odd slight, quiet pop, but this could be static. Visually there are a several hairline marks on the discs which can only be seen in certain light (no deep scratches), which I believe to be there from the first opening. The pressing plant put the records in the inner paper sleeves shown in the photos, so any movement in transit would have meant dust could affect the surface. I have had the records cleaned using a Pro-Ject machine at a local record store and personally stored them in Mofi archive sleeves for their anti-scratch and anti-static properties. These will be supplied and the records shipped in these for protection.

There are a few sealed copies in the marketplace at crazy prices, but you have no idea of the condition of the records inside; they could be warped or damaged from the factory? This copy is definitely not 100% perfect; it has minor imperfections, so please do not buy if you are looking for a MINT copy; please pay £1,000 plus for one.

There are a few marks to the inner sleeves' edges (see photos) and shelf wear to the main sleeve, specifically to the bottom.

I have described as best as I can, including the minor flaws with this copy. You are buying to purchase, not for inspection; this is why I have tried to be explicit with the description and capture imperfections on the photos.

Overall a very good copy that plays beautifully, and will only become more collectable as so few were initially pressed on vinyl.
