GEORGE HARRISON - 'WONDERWALL'
This soundtrack to the 1968 film was recorded in London in December 1967 & EMI's studios, Bombay between 9th-17th January 1968
This MONO pressing contains a dedicated mono mix & dates from initial November 1968 release on the Apple Records label: APCOR 1
Matrix numbers: APCOR 1A-1 & APCOR 1B-1
The disc's original catalogue was to be 'STAP 1' and its original matrices ('AP 1A-1 & AP 1B-1' ) are still visible in each run-out
Stamper codes: 1/A & 1/M
Vinyl weight: 149g
Housed in a fully laminated Bob Gill/John Kelly/Alan Aldridge designed mono cover with front cover painting by Bob Gill
Complete with a 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve & 2-sided Apple insert sheet

A pristine pair showing no more then 2/3 light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing only few tiny, pin-head sized marks on side 1 & a few light hairlines but little of any significance. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp merely highlights these minor blemishes adds nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This disc has clearly been barely played and there is no evidence of any groove/playwear anywhere. My play-check detetcted a touch of low-level vinyl background on some of the quieter passages together with an occasional light tick, but no further distractions or fault of any kind.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A strong & clean example of this striking cover which retains an unworn high-gloss laminate all round. The only signs of wear are a small bend in the front upper right corner & a couple more light laminate wrinkles towards the front opening edge. The edges themselves are unworn and all corners are unbumped.
The rear panel is immaculate.
Both seams are smooth & fully intact and the spine is clean, unworn & fully worded.
