The Concert for Bangladesh - The original Benefit Concert. This is a live Triple Album. Boxed Set with a 64 page book with pictures from the concert.
The two set event was held on the afternoon and evening of August1, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York
There are 19 songs.
The lineup included George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Ringo Starr, Ravi Shankar, Leon Russell, Bob Dylan and Badfinger. It raised $250,000 for relief efforts for refugees. This was a highly successful and influential project.
The Concert for Banglaseh was George Harrison's first live event before a paying audience since 1966 when the Beatles stopped performing.
