Description

A 1st pressing of Material World on the UK Apple label from 1974. Matrix 4U/2U. Etchings "GOT HITRE KRSNA HARE". The heavy set vinyl comes housed in a heavy-card gatefold cover. Also included is the original original ochre colour shaped inner sleeve..sorry, NO lyric sheet.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. It plays very nice and clean for the most part. The only deviation is a touch of momentary crackle in tracks 4 & 5. But even this is very brief and isolated in nature. Other than that ...a really very nice player indeed....
Cover (Ex) The 1st issue heavy-card gatefold is a thing of beauty. Solid as anything and looking in superb condition with only light evidence of handling. Shiny front and back and the interior is in a similar condition with just some laminate peel along that inner spine [unavoidable]. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. It retains perfect rigidity and this is a testament to the quality of manufacture.
Inner (Vg+) Bottom edge split which has been taped up. Otherwise aok.
