"The Concert for Bangla Desh" RARE BOX SET three LP records in MINT condition.
First Pressing JAPAN with perfect intact OBI plus inserts including photo colour book and lyrics sheet booklet.
The Concert for Bangla Desh, (aka Bangladesh) was a double benefit concert organised by former Beatles guitarist George Harrison and Indian sitar player Ravi Shankar at Madison Square Garden (NYC) in 1971.
Billed as "George Harrison and Friends", the concerts featured a supergroup of various performers that included Harrison, Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, Ravi Shankar, Ali Akbar Khan and members of the Welsh rock band, Badfinger.
This listing is for an Original First Pressing RARE BOX SET of three Stereo LP's on the Original Apple Label for Japan, with original hanging obi, plus full Album Size LYRICS insert and full Album Size SIXTY-FOUR PAGE COLOUR BOOKLET.
This TRIPLE LP BOX SET and all the contents are in superb condition:
- Records and colour pictures in the booklet are in MINT CONDITION.
- Box is PERFECT (Made in Japan) - No cover wear, no edge wear,no splits, no surface wear, not even corner wear.
- The cover of the lyrics sheet and the booklet show the very faintest (barely noticeable) signs of foxing due to the age of the publications. No creases or folds.

All Dylan tracks were recorded live with George Harrison, Leon Russell and Ringo Starr, Madison Square Garden, New York, Aug 1971 (the evening show).
