Promo Record: By Rotten To The Core "Don't Let Me Wait Too Long"
This is a repro custom sleeve by George Harrison. In 1973 right after the success of the single "Give Me Love" a follow up US single was picked as the next release. This single was to be Apple-1866 "Don' Let Me Wait Too Long" with "Living In The Material World" as the B side. For some reason the single was withdrawn. At this time things were not going well for Apple and George had said that "Apple had gotten rotten to the core". The number 1866 was not reassigned to another record. Here is a mint cool repro sleeve showing what it may have looked like.
Also included is a 1973 version of the song recorded by Rotten To The Core, a studio group Bell/PYE records put together to release the song. This Promo 45 is in VG+ condition, nice sound , no skips.
