First Pressing - November 27th, 1970
Box Set - 3 Albums + Poster
Remarkable condition for an album that is now 52 years old.
This is George’s first album release after the break-up of The Beatles
- The triple album box set is really in an excellent condition
(please refer to the photos for a more informed appreciation)
- Each album sleeve is in a beautiful condition,
whilst the actual boxed container shows little wear
- All the albums have a bright and shiny vinyl appearance,
and each label looks in an outstanding condition with no noticeable wear at all
- Every album has the following on each run-out - STCH-639 / Mastered by Capitol
- identifying the collection as a first pressing in the UK
- The poster is in a remarkable bright and contrasted condition
with no perceptible wear after 52 years!
- With regards to the quality of the vinyl it looks as if the previous owner only ever played side 1,
which shows some wear with a couple of marks, but this does not affect the playing.
Every other side - 2 through 6 looks amazingly bright and shiny with the sound both rich and detailed
The album was donated to me after the owner was made aware that the proceeds of all my sales
was being bequeathed to a charity close to the heart of the Jones extended family.
