This great sounding, high-quality GERMAN 1st pressing of the 3-LP box set dates from initial release in November 1970 and carries the catalogue numbers: 1C 192-04 707/8/9

Matrix numbers: Disc 1: 04707 A-1/B-1. Disc 2: 04708 A-1/B-1. Disc 3: not visible

Vinyl weight: 1. 149g. 2. 146g. 3. 137g

Each disc is housed within a German printed coloured card inner-sleeves and contained within a textured USA printed box with the German catalogue number printed on the spine.

The full colour poster of George is also present, but country of printing is not specified.

All labels are fresh, clean & unblemished with just a small handful of spindle trails around the holes on disc 1 and a single one on each side of discs 2 & 3

Visual: EXCELLENT

Extremely clean playing surfaces on every disc, all of which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines and bear no scuffs, marks or scratches in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some harmless inner-sleeve storage/removal hairlines but nothing significant or major which affects sound or play in any way. Each of these high-quality discs lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: NEAR MINT

Discs 1 has been carefully played a handful of times on top-quality equipment and it appears discs 2 & 3 have only been played just once. The sound quality is sensational and to my ears, superior to the UK 1st pressing. My single careful play-check found no trace of any groove/play wear, background or any clicks, pops or indeed and other audible faults or wear. You certainly will not be disappointed with the audio quality on this well looked after set.

Box:

EXCELLENT +

A heavy, strong and undamaged example with an bright, clean & completely unblemished front panel. There is slight rubbing to the extremities of each corner but all are unsplit and fully intact. The only significant sign of wear is a small scratch on the right edge of the rear panel. Inside is bright & clean both sides with no marks, writing or missing paper. The delicate hinge is fully intact and unsplit and all the lettering is clear and complete.

Inner-sleeves:

EXCELLENT

All are clean & uncreased with just some minor handling & storagwear but no splits or stresses to any seam.
