Description: Vintage 78 RPM 5-record shellac set titled George Gershwin Memorial Album (RCA Victor C-291), issued as a tribute to the legendary American composer. This collection features performances of Gershwin's best-loved compositions recorded from the RCA Magic Key concert program aired on July 10, 1938, following his passing.
This box set includes five 10" records in original brown paper sleeves bound in a hardcover album-style case. Cover shows moderate shelf wear and a section of sticker residue on the front. Records have been visually inspected and appear to be in good condition with no cracks or major damage. Not play-tested.
A beautiful collector’s piece for fans of Gershwin, early 20th-century American music, or 78 RPM enthusiasts.
