Description

From Leonard Feather's personal collection comes this mono test pressing for George Braith's Soul Stream on Blue Note BLP 4161.  The playing surface is bright and clean throughout, with a few inaudible, superficial marks; four tics begin Side 1, Track 1; "Van Gelder" and "P" in the dead wax (note that "ear" is a misnomer.  It is actually a "P" for Plastylite, the company that pressed Blue Note records.  The test pressing was sent to Feather in a plain paper sleeve on which he made his listening comments in preparation for his liner notes.

Personnel includes Grant Green and Billy Gardner.
