Genuine 1980 Factory Records Promo Poster For Joy Division Closer Album

An extremely rare and much sought after original Factory Records poster to promote the second and final album by Joy Division FACT25, released July 18, 1980 on Factory, two months following the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis.
The album was recorded from 18 to 30 March 1980 at Britannia Row Studios, Islington, London.
The cover photo is a detail of the Appiani family tomb in the Staglieno Cemetery in Genova, Italy.
The sculpture was made by Demetrio Paernio.

Poster has a major crease across the middle of it from having been folded in half, and various small age related creases and pin holes, Poster size is approx 27” x 16” and looks absolutely stunning as it has been professionally framed.
