Description
Genesis Phil Collins Peter Gabriel autographed Nursery Cryme LP cover
This is a copy of the Genesis nursery Cryme fold out cover for the album CAS 1052 from the early 1970’s which is autographed by the then members of the group. This includes autographs by Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Anthony (Tony ) Banks and Michael Rutherford in red ink or felt pen.
I personally obtained this from the group members when we helped out with the group’s equipment during their concert in Newcastle around 1972. The cover is in good condition and all the signatures are on the inner right side within the block for the lyrics for the song ‘The fountain of Salmacis’. The end of Phil Collins and Steve Hackett’s signatures trail into the black background of the album cover.
PLEASE NOTE - this is an autographed album cover and does NOT include the record; I never had the record, the covers were lying back stage for display in the foyer before the concert. The photo shows the actual signatures. Any questions, please ask before bidding - thank you.
Buyer pays in £ sterling. Record cover will be sent first class and I will retain a proof of postage until the buyer confirms safe receipt. Obviously, if sent first class I can provide a proof of posting and press any claim for non-delivery, but I cannot be held responsible for the failure of the postal service. For first class delivery within the UK I am setting a set price for p&p of £2.50 If a buyer wants recorded or other insured delivery service this is fine (but they should request this on close of auction) and they will pay the actual cost of the service. Elsewhere, please enquire about postage, but this will be at actual cost.
