Genesis, The Knife/The Knife Part 2, 7" Single, Picture Sleeve, 1971. Charisma Records, CB152. RARE.

This 1971 release is a rare package, so rare that many Genesis collectors have never even seen a copy! The Rare Record Price guide lists this record at £325 for a Mint copy.

This record is in variable condition - Side One is Fair/Good, with some deep visible scratches across the first quarter of side one; side one plays without jumping, but the scratches are audible in the first minute or so. Side Two is Excellent, with no visible scratches; on side two the sound is good, with little deterioration, just the occasional click in the quiet passages. There is extensive writing on the label where it has been marked as a scratched copy.

The picture sleeve is in Excellent condition, with just a little scuffing at the outer edge and a small crease at top left. It has been preserved in a vinyl outer sleeve. This record is part of my private collection.
