Description

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is the original edition of Gene Vincent's 1958 album release of "GENE VINCENT ROCKS AND THE BLUE CAPS ROLL" on the original turquois Capitol label, # T 970.  This is a fantastic album both musically with it's rockabilly beat and in terms of condition. The vinyl has a nice high gloss and exhibits only some faint marks, there are no gougs or deep scratches. The album has fresh and clean dynamic sound with very little static in a few places and very little popping, this rates a strong VG to VG+. The labels are beautiful. The record jacket has bright and fresh with bold color with some light soiling limited to the back cover. The jacket is stiff and firm with a small corner bump to the LR. There is a clean seam split in the UR corner that extends about 1 and 1/2 inches. This is a scarce album in exceptional condition and is being offered WITHOUT RESERVE!!.
