Gene Vincent Rocks! And the Blue Caps Roll

GENE VINCENT AND HIS BLUE CAPS

Wonderful rare first mono pressing of the late great Gene Vincent's classic rockabilly LP from 1958 (Capitol 970).

As difficult as it is to find an original pressing of this LP, it is even harder to find in any reasonable condition. This example is amazing! Gorgeous VG++ cover, and very shiny shiny VG++ vinyl. Look at the photos!

Another very interesting aspect of this example of Gene's first LP. On the back cover there are four signatures  in ink. They appear to be of members of Gene's band: Dickie Harrell, Paul Peek, Johnny Meeks, and Tommy Facenda. I cannot guarantee that each is an original autograph, but my educated guess is that they are real, and were acquired during one of the band's reunion concerts in recent years.

The winning bidder adds $4.00 for media mail shipping in the U.S., plus insurance. More for outside the U.S. or for priority mail.

I accept money orders and checks, with time to clear the bank.  Please note that I do not accept Paypal.

My preference is for money orders or certified checks. As such, as an incentive, for any item with a final bid of between $100 and $200, you can deduct two dollars from the final amount owed if you pay with a money order or certified check. For any item over $200, you may deduct five dollars.
