GENE VINCENT AND HIS BLUE CAPS
Wonderful rare 2nd mono pressing from 1960 of the late great Gene Vincent's classic fourth rockabilly LP (Capitol T 1059). The tracks are: Five Feet of Lovin', The Wayward Wind, Somebody Help Me, Keep it a Secret, Hey Good Lookin', Git It, Teen Age Partner, Peace of Mind, Look What You Gone And Done To Me, Summertime, I Can't Help It, I Love You.
As difficult as it is to find an original pressing of this LP, it is even harder to find in any reasonable condition. This example is amazing! Gorgeous VG++ cover, and very shiny shiny VG++ vinyl. Look at the photos!
Another very interesting aspect of this example of Gene's first LP. On the back cover there are four signatures in ink. They appear to be of members of Gene's band: Dickie Harrell, Paul Peek, Johnny Meeks, and Tommy Facenda. The signatures appear to have been given to "Jeremy". I cannot guarantee that each is an original autograph, but my educated guess is that they are real, and were acquired during one of the band's reunion concerts in recent years.
Please note that I have two other rare Gene Vincent LPs up for auction this week!
I accept money orders and checks, with time to clear the bank. Please note that I do not accept Paypal.
My preference is for money orders or certified checks. As such, as an incentive, for any item with a final bid of between $100 and $200, you can deduct two dollars from the final amount owed if you pay with a money order or certified check. For any item over $200, you may deduct five dollars.
I accept bids from and will ship to anywhere in the world. Please check out all my other auctions (combine and save on postage!) and Good Luck : )
