Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-etched pressing of Gene Ammons “Jammin’ with Gene” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7060. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated West 50th St. cover has an 8” split along the top seam; bump/wear at the top left corner; ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening; the back slick has small writing at the top, small previous owner’s stamp at the lower right corner, and “Not for Sale” stamped on the left edge. Glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Donald Byrd, Art Farmer, Jackie McLean, Mal Waldron, Doug Watkins, and Art Taylor. $100.00.
