Having spent 20 years in the music industry performing, touring and producing, I decided to park the van and leave all that to the next generation. It's a young person's game after all.

With a bit of time on my hands and an enthusiasm for music media, I soon became a zealous collector of the original format. The artwork, the look, the smell and the feel of a vinyl record continues to intrigue me and that's before I even put it on the turntable. There's no point in getting too hung up about sonics and tonality as it's a very well researched topic and the science speaks for itself but that's for you to decide.

Now we have a dedicated team working hard to put together an extensive collection of LPs, EPs and 45s covering all manner of genres including rock, pop, prog, blues, jazz, funk & classical plus many more. Whether you are an avid enthusiast, trader or serious collector, Vinyl XP has something for you. Items will be packed in sturdy professional mailers and orders will be dispatched in 24 hrs of payment being received excluding weekends and bank holidays. Bulk items will be packaged appropriately with extra protection if required.

Items will include brand new 450g polythene outer sleeves and high quality anti-static sleeve inners. Original inners will also be included for authenticity.

UK

All items under £20.00 are dispatched using Royal Mail 2nd class by default to keep delivery costs to a minimum. Items over £20.00 are dispatched using Royal Mail 2nd class signed for to provide extra piece of mind and security for quality items.

Items usually take around 2 - 4 weeks to arrive and we always recommend you select a tracked option at checkout to be able to monitor delivery progress.

Here at Vinyl XP we are extremely careful in providing an accurate description of vinyl and cover condition using the Record Collectors grading criteria below. We are also careful in researching GENUINE pressing information. However, mistakes or differences in opinion can happen and we are happy to offer a no questions asked 100% refund policy including return postage costs on receipt of the item back to us. We may ask to see proof of postage to avoid unnecessary overheads.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster should be in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little reduction in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and tear/creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects unless included in the decription are acceptable.
