Description
Hello there, and thankyoufor viewing my item!
Having had rather a lengthy hiatus, I'm back to sell more of my collection/ 2nd copies/ records I think might be of interest to others. In previous years I've sold very rare PROG, 60s, PUNK etc, ranging from cheap record right up to £1000 records, and have invariably got good feedback. However, having been away from selling for so long I realise I need to build up current positive feedback again, hence I'm listing many items at buy it now prices, please check out my current, and coming here at my other items! Or to get the heads up on my listings before others even add me to your favourites list!
Here we have a lovely ORIGINAL copy of the classic 1988 album LIES by GUNS 'N' ROSES with the rare and UNCENSORED NUDE INNER SLEEVE in superb condition. If someone toldme this was an ex-stock copy I could believe it,except I know it came from a collection! It can't have seen a turntable as much as it should have though! Absolutely NO SPINDLE marks,or indeed playing marks on the surface. WHAT INTRIGUES ME FURTHER ABOUT THIS COPY IS THE CENTRE OF THE LABEL IT HAS CONCENTRIC RINGS WITH THE INVERSE STAMPER (HOW 60S TAX CODES WOULD BE PRESSED) OF "407",clearly all done in the manufacturing process, but I've just never seen one before, and being amongst other things a BEATLES collector, these things stand out as significant! (PLEASE CHECK OUT PHOTOS OF LABELS TO SEE THIS) Either way, you'd be hard pressed to get a better condition copy of this record, regardless of oddity of pressing!
LABELS: EX+, really nice,really don'tlooklike they've ever been touched.
VINYL: EX+, the most minor surface/withdrawl marks, only visible when angled into direct halogen light. Superb! Really superb!
SLEEVE: EX+, No edge or corner wear, perfectly legible spine, perfect opening mouth edges... in short, a beauty!
INNER SLEEVE: EX, some very light handling indents, no wear-throughs, no tears, nice and crisp.
