Description

GUESS WHO
A: It's My Pride
B: His Girl
[KING, KG 1044, UK]

"It's My Pride" from 1966 by a pre-fame The Guess Who is one of the best recordings ever made in Canada. It is a truly essential and trailblazing piece of garage rock / freakbeat which never lets up. DRENCHED in fuzz and distortion with a grinding organ in the background and a snarling vocalist way up front. Listen to this if you don't know it! You will not be dissapointed. A total floorfiller and a defining moment of 60s punk that has been comped on "Gathering Of The Tribe" and the "Nuggets Vol 2" box-set amongst other places. Here you have it on its MEGA RARE original UK issue in amazing M- condition!
