SARAH BERNHARDT RECITING LA SAMARITAINE (Edmond Rostand)- GRAMOPHONE AND TYPEWRITER GC 31171 (matrix 1502-F/ date- 1903).

Condition- '2-3' Usual pressing depressions common with pressings of this era. Light needle drop (some red wax pencil marks this spot) ticks a few times at the beginning. Otherwise, this copy is clean.

Sarah Bernhardt (1844-1923) was one of the outstanding actresswes of the 19th Century. Her delivery of this dramatic piece is typical of her voice and syle of delivery.
