VERY RARE 1971 UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL IN EARLIEST FULLY LAMINATED E.J.DAY GATEFOLD COVER, ALL IN STUNNING MINT- CONDITION.

Here is a brilliant MINT- condition original uk 1st pressing of one the best heavy Acid-Prog/blues albums to ever be released. This classic 1971 Groundhogs album is in truly amazing condition inside and out. The original thick stereo vinyl looks in flawless un-marked MINT condition and the earliest E.J.Day fully laminated gatefold sleeve is also in pristine as new condition and like the vinyl it also has no wear, marks or flaws at all. This album is now 37 years old but it looks as though the vinyl was just pressed yesterday and that the fully laminated gatefold sleeve has just been printed, original copies simply do not surface for sale in this condition very often at all, this is a top copy that will definitely not disappoint in any way whatsoever.

1st PRESS VINYL = MINT- (LOOKS BRAND NEW)

The thick stereo vinyl is in amazing ultra-clean playing condition and grades an immaculate MINT-, both sides have that brilliant just pressed blemish free appearance, there are no surface marks, scuffs or hairlines at all, both sides really do look in flawless MINT condition, all tracks play superbly well throughout with no clicks or pops or loud crackle, there is the absolute minimal amount of light hiss/crackle only, this record has only ever had just one or two careful plays on a decent turntable since new so the sound quality is perfect with a crystal clear clarity throughout. The winning bidder will definitely not be disappointed with this MINT- brilliant playing/sounding original uk 1st pressing of this superb heavy as hell acid-prog/blues classic, this record should be played very loud at a neighbour annoying volume to be fully appreciated.

Both original liberty labels are in faultless clean and bright wear free condition and look brand new.

E.J.DAY FULLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER = MINT-

The fully laminated gatefold sleeve was printed in the UK by E.J.Day, i have two early A-1U / B-1U uk pressings of 'Split' with fully laminated gatefolds and they are identical apart from one has the E.J.Day makers credit back/bottom and the other one does not, this cover is the very earliest with the E.J.Day credit, (PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES PROVIDED), This original earliest fully laminated E.J.Day sleeve is in absolutely stunning condition and just like the vinyl it is flawless and looks brand new, there is no wear at all, the front/back and inside lamination looks superb and reflects as new, all edges and spine are free of wear and are straight and strong, the top and bottom of the spine is in perfect condition and looks freshly cut with no fluffing or wear at all. This sleeve is in amazing condition and just could not be bettered, it's perfect.

This is just an pristine condition rare Uk first pressing that will definitely not disappoint in any way.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
