The Greenbo Valley Sound: "Mother Earth" 1970?, USA/K-Ark K 6034 Mono. Deep-groove disc has some light marks, it's a very thick/crude pressing and it's a bit crackly, but I don't think a visually M- copy would play any better; it gets a VG+ grade. The cover is Fair with four cut corners, a sticker stain, some surface tears, and three autographs in pencil which don't seem to be those of any band members (!?). OK, this is pretty strange... a very homegrown backwoods country-rock/folk album from Kentucky with all quirky original songs. The instrumentation slips a gear beyond the usual bag with the addition of a sax player that sounds like he had some jazz training! A unique piece here that will blow collectors of outsider private LPs away. The date is a guess... it's a Mono recording and the disc/cover are both very thick/old-school. It actually looks like an early 60s pressing, but the titles suggest it emerged after some hippie culture had leaked into their Appalachian consciousness. "Lady Killer", "Zapme", "Coffee Slurper", "Spaced Song", etc. No tracks on YouTube, of course. I'm sure I'll never see another copy and you'll be the only one on your block to have this!

I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.

Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW. I have had Media Mail boxes take two months to travel cross-country.

CANADA: If you are in Canada, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $14.00. This service offers no tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.

MEXICO: If you are in Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $20.00. This service offers no tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.

EVERYWHERE ELSE: If you are not in the USA, Canada, or Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $23.00. This service offers no tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.

Note to International buyers: I DO NOT USE EBAY's GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM. Rest assured that your Customs forms will be processed by me and your package will be postmarked/mailed at my local Post Office. If you are unable to bid on my auctions, send me an email and I will try to fix the problem.
