Description
This is another exceptionally hard find , beautifully pressed and recorded, thick, heavy vinyl Lp made in Greece on brilliant blue and silver COLUMBIA Long playing microgroove labels #33GSX 16. called: GREECE WITHOUT RUINS, featuring music and songs from Ang. Lambrou's film production by STAVROS XARCHAKOS & MIKIS THEODORAKIS. These obscure soundtrack lps are very sought after by collectors. Lps in this condition are already in the hands of collectors unwilling to part with them. It has near pristine labels NO spindle marks, stains, wear, etc. I noticed only one faint spindle trail on each. Matrix numbers are stamped in trail off they are: XGX 305, and XGX 306. Playing surfaces have a brilliant glossy shine with NO dulling groove wear, scratches, defects, warps, or stains. Only under very close inspection did I see a small handful of light surface scuffs just here and there that do not affect play. I played excerpts from each side, they sounded crystal clear with NO distortion or annoying background noise. I heard only 2 or 3 extremely soft background ticks. Cover is thin cardboard with shiny lamination and magnificent photo and graphics on front. On back are notes and song titles in English and Greek. Cover has NO seam or spine splits, bent corners, cut outs, or stains, just has light wear, faint browning, a small browning stain bottom right corner back, a tiny tear bottom right corner front and the previous owners name very small stamped on back.
