Original UK stereo gatefold double LP, release date 1970 on the Warner Bros label, catalogue number: WS1830 Matrix nos: side1) WS1830A-2*T STEREO side 2) WS1830B-1*T STEREO side3) WS1830C-1*T STEREO side4) WS1830D-1*T STEREO Condition of cover/record: NEAR MINT / NEAR MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) A NEAR MINT cover, with just one 1 & ½ inch curved crease to the front cover. There is very little wear to the top and bottom edges, just dots and dashes, overall it is impressive, with just one corner crease about ¼ inch long front bottom right – see photo. The inner gatefold is perfect. There are no other creases or wear or tears, no ‘ring’ wear writing or stickers, no glue deposits or indentations. The spine is perfect with perfect print and no wear marks. The inner sleeves are white polythene-lined. The two labels have a few light spindle marks – sides 1 & 4 (5 or 6 marks each) – sides 2 & 3 (8 to 10 marks each). The record is almost of perfect sound quality: side 1) 2 or 3 light crackles; side 2) PERFECT; side 3) 3 or 4 crackles on ‘turn on your lovelight’; side 4) 5 or 6 crackles on ‘feedback’ and 2 light crackles on ‘bid you goodnight’. NONE OF THE TRACKS HAVE ANY ANNOYING CLICKS OR POPS, THE CRACKLES ARE QUITE UNOBTRUSIVE, BUT I ALWAYS MENTION EVEN THE SLIGHTEST DEFECT. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it.
