Description

******************  GRANT GREEN "FEELIN' THE SPIRIT" LP - On Blue Note Records, #4132.  Scarce vintage jazz Lp in outstanding condition!  MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels.  Deep groove on Side 1 only.  'EAR' and 'VAN GELDER' stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Grant Green/guitar; Herbie Hancock/piano; Butch Warren/bass; Billy Higgins/drums; Garvin Masseaux/tambourine.  The vinyl is in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful gloss) with clean labels, looks virtually unplayed.  Stunning!!  The thick cardboard cover is in superb shape and displays wonderfully.  Tiny staple hole in upper right corner.  NO seam splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.  The songs are:  Just A Closer Walk With Thee; Joshua Fit De Battle Ob Jericho; Nobody Knows The Trouble I've Seen; Go Down Moses; Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child.
