Description

Here's a very rare test pressing of the original 10" issue of Panda Records PA-001, The Official Grandmothers Fan Club Talk Album. The Grandmothers were Jimmy Carl Black, Bunk Gardner, Chris Garcia, Don Preston and Roy Estrada (Zappa was not directly involved). Despite the title, the record includes both music and spoken word material. This test pressing is on 12" vinyl, but the grooves only extend 10" diameter. This copy includes a hilarious original custom-made cover (see pics). There's a discreet pressing flaw on the B-side that is audible for a number of rotations near the end of the track.
