Description
Beautiful copy of the 1973 first pressing LP of Gram Parsons' classic of country rock, GP, on Reprise MS-2123. This is the true first pressing with no Warner Brothers logo on the label. The disc has some superficial scuffs and light surface rubs but really this thing plays just beautifully. Barely the slightest flaw. There is a touch of very very faint crackle between some songs, and at the very beginning of each side, but never during any music. Sounds just spectacular on a first pressing, too. This is a top playing copy... and the cover is exceptionally nice as well. Most copies have terrible ringwear and worse... but this one is gorgeous. A touch of light ringwear, yes, but not at all like you normally see. Just barely. Hardly any edge or corner wear at all. Totally crisp and clean, except the tiniest beginning of a seam split at the top right. Just about a 1 1/2 cm split there, barely noticeable. Otherwise a top, top copy.
