Here are test pressings up for auction from the recently retired Kye Records label, overseen by Graham Lambkin, legendary co-conspirator of the Shadow Ring. See the recent notice in Wire Magazine about the label, which covered a consistently wide ranging spectrum of experimental music. Field recordings, free jazz, ambient noise, plunderphonics, DIY primitive post rock, avant minimal, industrial electronic, and so on. These test pressings have an illustrious provenance: I was in the neighborhood when Mr. Lambkin was cleaning out the broom closet. Some are identified in writing on the outside of the generic covers, others so indicated on the inner sleeves, but all have been confirmed by the Kye catalogue #s in the dead wax. All are OOP and NM.
