OK, here we go with another selection of LPs to be auctioned from an absolutely outstanding collection of records which used to belong to a well-known record reviewer. We here at Stamford Audio have never before seen such an amazing collection, and such a sterling one in this kind of outstanding condition is a rarity indeed.
This is the great Graham Bond Organization's Columbia mono LP 'There's A Bond Between Us' 33SX 1750, Blue/Black label, XAX 2950-1, 2951-1, the very first pressing and a FACTORY SAMPLE to boot! The Factory Sample Not For Sale sticker is on label side 1 - we have already sold many LPs from this collection with GENUINE FACTORY SAMPLE stickers and this is no exception. The previous owner of these LPs was sent copies of LPs by record companies to review before release and we have many of the original letters from such companies to prove that this was the way he came to own the records.
Onto condition; I doubt you will find a better copy of this LP. The only (extremely minor) flaws on the sleeve are the remnants of a sticker top left and a couple of very light spine creases. This flipback laminated sleeve is in astonishingly fantastic condition. Easily grades NEAR MINT.
The vinyl is equal to the sleeve. The labels are very near untouched. There are a couple of tiny flecks which look like they could be spindle marks, but they are very small. This looks barely played! There is one extremely light mark in the runout groove on side one, but even this looks like it could be a factory flaw; the winning bidder will not be disappointed with an LP that we can confidently grade as NEAR MINT!
This LP came from the collection of a well-respected music journalist and we will be listing more of his wonderful records very soon - check our other items.
