This record is in excellent+ condition. It has a few light spindle rubs visible on the labels but there is certainly not an excessive amount. There are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading and overall the labels are clean, bright and in nice condition.
As for the vinyl itself both sides have a very nice lustre and just minor signs of use. There is the odd light wispy line and faint sign of age but certainly nothing major or nasty. Overall a nice clean vintage lp and one that is showing just light signs of age/use to its playing surfaces.
I play tested the record and it played very well. It lays flat on the deck and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent with no distortion caused by excessive use and no skips, sticks or annoying clicks. The audio clarity is also excellent with very little surface noise to report. I picked up on a trace in the run in to each side and very minimal hint in the intro to track 1 on side 1 but the vast majority of play is clear and of nice quality. Overall a very enjoyable listen with minimal interference of any sort.
The sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has no really major issues such as pen marks, splits or scuffs but there is a few things to mention. Firstly there is some minor tears/areas of damage to the rear top edge area(see pics). There is also some minor areas of grubbiness or discolouring to parts of the rear. The front is clean and bright, with just light signs of its age. The spine is solid and all legible with just a few minor areas of light 'creasing' showing. There is some light wear/bruising to the corners, and also a light area of 'cracking' to a 3.5" section in the middle of the bottom edge. The sleeve is generally presentable and solid but is of the 60s design which needs to be handled carefully to avoid further wear or unwanted issues. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible. It includes its original Blue Note inner which is in very good condition. This appears tidy but does have a 2" split to one of the side edges and some light general signs of its age. The original will of course be included but the record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in between cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
