GOODBYE GEMINI LP 1970 ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Music composed by CHRISTOPHER GUNNING with vocals by THE PEDDLERS, PETER LEE STIRLING, JACKIE LEE. Starring in GOODBYE GEMINI were JUDY GEESON, MARTIN POTTER, ALEXIS KANNER and SIR MICHAEL REDGRAVE. The film was described as a psychological horror film when it was released in 1970. Since then it has gained cult status as much for the score as for its very controversial content. It was advertised with the tag line "In the age of Aquarius, the twins share everything, love, men and murder." Press attacked the film as "endemic of everything wrong with contemporary British culture." The record seems to be in Near-mint condition with no visible flaws on either side. The jacket is cardboard and illustrated with text and photographs. It is in Very Good+ condition with minimal signs of shelfwear -- slight tanning around the edges consistent with age. The bottom right corner has been cut off (about 1/4") as was the practice for the industry back in the 70's indicating that the record had been either discounted or discontinued and may not be returned to the original retailer. In the 50 years since its release, this record has become much sought-after and highly collectible.
