GLENN MILLER RARE 1940 EMIDISC RADIO ACETATE LP
Record looks clean and scratch free and is obviously very little played. However, it has the usual background sshh and crackle associated with acetates and though the music is strong and the record plays trouble free, this is A 1940s recorded and produced item and is not hi-fi. It is a recording of original recordings, presumably (at least the announcer refers to this) not available on records in the form that the tracks appear here ? though obviously many tracks are well known. It is a mixture of announcer introducing the tracks, Chesterfield commercials and music. A rare thing. The disc is in its original card sleeve, handwritten with the following,
