FOR SALE: THIS IS A VINYL RECORD!!!

GLEN TOMASETTI

GOLD RUSH SONGS

A VERY RARE AND UNUSUAL PRODUCTION FOR A SCIENCE MUSEUM!

NEVER THE LESS IN WHAT REGARDS THE MUSICAL QUALITY OF THIS PRODUCTION IT STAYS VERY UP ON THE TOP SHELF. GLEN'S VOICE AND GUITAR ARE FANTASTIC. THE TUNES, SOME WELL KNOWN POPULAR TUNES, SOME TRADITIONAL ENGLISH/IRISH TUNES, SOME NOT SO WELL KNOWN, ARE ALL VERY WELL SUNG, AND MAKES THIS RECORD A VERY DESIRABLE PIECE OF AUSTRALIANA.

TEN OF THE SONGS ARE ADAPTED TO THE LYRICS OF CHARLES THATCHER, HIMSELF A GOLDFIELDS ENTERTAINER, WHO SPENT SOME TIME ON VICTORIAN GOLD FIELDS.
