George Hatcher Band

'Hindsight'

Trout, USA, 1985

INCREDIBLE BAND led, natch, by American vocalist George Hatcher who had actually formed the first version of the band whilst living in the UK. The music is primo southern rock with all the trimmings that you might expect such as slide guitar, longs tracks and plenty of guitar action - a twin guitar line up. I saw Hatcher's band play many times during the mid seventies including one memorable show at Hammesmith Odeon and next to the Outlaws, Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet they were the best Southern band I ever saw.

Hatcher's raspy vocal is like a mix of Danny Joe Brown, Gregg Allman and Ronnie Van Zant - a great hair tossing, hip swaying front man in the finest southern tradition.

Beautiful copy and highly recommended.

Vinyl: Nice condition. One lone spindle mark and no signs of use - probably only played once or twice if that. Displays a hint of storage dust and a few private label style blemishes. Grades as Ex+

Cover: Only minimal signs of any use. Issued in a beautifully designed thick guage cardborad cover. Sharp corners (tips rubbed lightly), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square and totally uncrushed. Displays just a hint of storage wear. Grades as Ex+
