Description

George Harrison - 'Dark Horse / Hari's On Tour (Express)'. R 6001.

George Harrison 1975 UK 1st Apple DEMO pressing of the 'Dark Horse / Hari's On Tour (Express)' 7" single. Released on the 28th february 1975, and offered here in solid VERY GOOD+ condition. This completely failed to chart for George in 1975 making it one of his rarer releases.

These initial early demonstration pressings would have been given out to important reviewers and radio stations prior to the release date. Both labels state: 'DEMO RECORD NOT FOR SALE' and the release date of '28.2.75'. Released on the custom Apple Records label and housed within the original matt Apple Records sleeve. Note the very unusual mother/stamper codes on the a-side below.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7YCE 21755-2U G X-45945-Z-5

Side 2. 7YCE 21750-1U GR 3

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Both sides of the vinyl have been play tested with NO faults just some crackle in places and the occasional click. NO JUMPS, STICKS....

The label on the a-side is in EXCELLENT+ condition. The label on the b-side is in VERY GOOD+ condition (light stain).

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Some neat writing on the back cover in black pen.

This will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK Recorded postage is: £2.50. EU Recorded Postage is: £8.50. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £11.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.

VINYL VISUALLY GRADED BASED ON UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADES WITH A + OR -.
