Description
GENESIS – NURSERY CRYME – PINK SCROLL LABEL
Released in 1971 on Charisma, this copy features the pink scroll label & has the matrix nos CAS1052A-1U & CAS1052B-2U.Stampers/ Mothers CA. 1 It has the textured gatefold sleeve.
Side 1 The Musical Box, For Absent friends, The Return Of The Giant Hogweed
Side 2 Seven Stones, Harold The Barrel, Harlequin, The Fountain Of Salmacis
Vinyl - When held up to the light there are numerous hairline marks criss-crossing each side. Both sides play without jumping although there is some surface noise in the quieter parts of the songs & a number of clicks.
Labels - Side 1 label has a discoloured patch approx 4cms x 2cms where a sticker has been removed (photo 2). Side 2 label has a white mark that looks like a scratch approx 1cm long (photo 3). Both labels have spindle marks & some spots where the pink is discoloured, possibly from a reaction over time from fingerprints.
Sleeve - The textured gatefold sleeve has some wear around the edges & corners. There is glue residue from a sticker on the front & it is a little grubby. When viewed from the back the top r/h corner of the front “half” of the sleeve is visible - presumably this is due to the fold of the spine being slightly askew when manufactued.
I have played each record & tried to give my honest opinion of the item. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with my grading. Please check my feedback if you need further reassurances.
