This record contains all available Genesis recordings taped during the period between their first two albums: "From Genesis to Revelation" (released on 7th March by Decca Records) and "Trespass" (issued on 23rd October 1970 by Charisma). All tracks recorded in London between 20th August 1969 and 11th March 1970 by "Trespass" LP line-up: Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Anthony Phillips and John Mayhew.

Track 3-6 recorded at BBC Transcription Service Studio, Kensington House, London on 9th January 1970.
