This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK ONE SIDED TEST PRESSING ONLY - PROG ROCK - single by GENESIS from 1974, ORIGINAL UK ONE SIDED TEST PRESSING ONLY SINGLE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION VINYL !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - PROG ROCK - UK ONE SIDED TEST PRESSING ONLY single that I HAVE NEVER SEEN FOR SALE BEFORE !!!This is an UNDOCUMENTED - ONE SIDED UK TEST PRESSING of the 1974 single “COUNTING OUT TIME” the other side plays only a tone !!!It also comes with the ORIGINAL WHITE DIE CUT SLEEVE with the matrix number written in one corner and release date stamped also in the same corner, the other corner had GEN CORRECT written on it, which I assume is GENESES - CORRECT PRESSING !!!It is also a SOLID LABEL pressing where as most of the PROMOS / DEMOS and STOCK COPIES I have seen were 4 PRONGS LABELS !!!The matrices are: SIDE A. : CB 238 A-2U machine stamped and 1 and G on the 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock position (also stamped) and PORKY etched. SIDE B. : has LPFB stamped on it.It also has serrated edges on both sided !!!PETER GABRIEL was still the lead single of GENESIS when this single came out !!!
I ALSO HAVE SOME RARE GENESIS EARLY TEST PRESSING AND PROMO SINGLES LISTED THIS WEEK, SO PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT !!!
The tracks are: COUNTING OUT TIME / side B plays only tone.
The single was pressed by CHARISMA RECORDS catalogue number CB 238.
The condition of the vinyl is in : NEAR MINT condition (PLAYED ONCE ONLY !!!), comes in the original white die cut sleeve with hand written information and release date stamped !!!
