TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to rogersrecords---your Ebay site for great condition, highly collectible records from the 1950's-60's---where I begin listing everything at $9.99 or less, and never use a "reserve price". So, please bookmark my site and check it out when you can--thank you. This ultra rare, four song EP with it's original hardcover jacket, is by one of R'n'R's earliest and very best performer's, Gene Vincent and His Blue Caps, and is entitled "Bluejean Bop". It is on the original, torquoise Capitol Label, from 1957 and was his very 1st release ever for Capitol. It contains four (4) great songs of his including the title song, plus "Jezebel"; " Jumps Jiggles, and Shouts"; and "Ain't She Sweet". Maybe it isn't entirely near mint, but it isn't very far from it, believe me. In my opinion, both the vinyl and the hardcover jacket are in very good condition, but please view the pics below, read about the record and picture sleeve's condition, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, torquoise colored, Capitol Label, EAP-1-764, and is in excellent condition----I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle which indicates very little play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean, and nice, and looks almost as good as new---there are just a couple of very, very light surface/paper lines in a couple places----but, trust me, what's there is extremely light and nothing too serious. PICTURE SLEEVE INFO: This hardcover jacket, with a great shot of the very young and dapper looking Gene Vincent (and his Blue Caps), is likewise in very good overall shape, but for one or two extremely minor flaws. There appears to be a slight discoloration and/or small spots in a couple places on the front side---and perhaps it just needs a little TLC and cleaning. To me, this flaw is pretty minor in the whole scheme of things, and it's about the only thing that's wrong with it at all. So, although I see no big deal with anything here, please view all the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see this original, 1st Gene Vincent EP out there anymore, espiecally in this kind of nice condition, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to list---more 45's/PS's/EP's and LP's by many other artists like Frankie Lyman, Elvis, The Beatles and many other artists from the '50's-'60's--even some rare C&W too. I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed LPs and EPs are quite rare and hard to find, and almost all of them are in excellent shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
