GEMMA HASSON. Introducing Ireland's Gemma Hasson.
VERY RARE IRISH ORIGINAL LP
This was Gemma's first lp, released in Ireland on the Dolphin label in 1974. The number is DOLM 5009. It has 12 tracks. She made two lps the second being ‘Waiting for the morning’ ,both are rare but this her debut seems to be the rarer of the two. Reminds me a bit in parts of Anne Briggs.
The sleeve is in excellent (EX) condition. Couple of sticker removal marks on reverse- no residue or tearing though
The vinyl is very good plus (VG+). With two clicks at the start of track 1 of side 2 and there is some very light backgound crackle on some of the quieter bits throughout
Tracks are Fincairn Flax, Geordie, Wildwood flower.Last thing on my mind,.The winding river Roe, Will the circle be unbroken,Slieve Gallion Braes,Mary dear, The half-door, Babe I am going to leave you, Butcher boy,Frankie and Johnny.
