The kind of sound library gem that keeps us digging for sound library records after all these years – a treasure trove of groovy instrumental tracks that never got commercial release back in the day! The style here is early 70s Italian – all the best modes learned in the soundtrack generation of the 60s – turned into styles that are a bit more electric, and a bit more funky – with strong instrumentation that includes trumpet, Hammond, guitar, and lots of excellent electric bass – which creates an immediate groove, even on some of the gentler steppers on the set! The whole thing feels like Ennio Morricone and Herb Alpert hanging out in the studio – trying to recraft some of the maestro's music for A&M Records – with results that are completely charming throughout. Titles include "Dayda", "Pete", "Schizzo" comped on the legendary SPEEDBALL EXPERIENCE collection, "Murlak", "Bronx", "Ciresa Facaud", and "Footing".
