GASPER LAWAL - Ajomase - CAP RECORDS / CAP 1 / PRIVATE 1980 UK.
Incredible great Nigerian Afrobeat funk psych with superb fuzzed out spacy electric guitar leads, incredible great drums and percussion, electric bass, tenor and soprano sax and more. Vocals are in Nigerian lenguage. This guy travelled to the UK in the late 60s and was a menber of different Afrofunk bands from those times. He also player with Ginger Baker on different bands. During the early 70s he returned back to Nigeria but travelled again during 1976 to the UK to record this incredible great album that was released in 1980 as a private pressing only in the UK. This album will pleases both, funk and psychedelic collectors. Simply a must have item! Almost long tracks.
