Description
Gary Numan - Telekon
Here we have a UK pressing of Gary Numan's 1980 No-1 LP 'Telekon' that appears to be a black vinyl LP.
As fans and collector's will know some early copies of this pressing appear to be red when held to a light.
This copy (as you can see in both scans) appears to be GREEN when held to an energy saving light bulb....! Then when held to a normal light it appears to be very light red!
Why it goes green with a certain type of bulb is beyond me but there you go!
I have several other dark red 'Telekon' LP's here and they DON'T go green so...a very nice item for a collector to pick up!
The vinyl record is in Excellent condition and is housed in the classic Telekon sleeve.
The sleeve is also graded as being in EXcellent condition (see scan 3).
The LP comes complete with the free 7" Single 'Remember I Was Vapour' b/w 'On Broadway' which glows red when held to a light (this 7" disc is also in Excellent condition)!!
Issued on the Beggars Banquet Record Label.
The Catalogue Number is BEGA 19.
